Edrea

Edrea graduated from the VMA program at NAIT in 2023, and joined the Delton team in November of 2023. She grew up in Athabasca, Alberta. Edrea never had any pets growing up and while she did appreciate animals, she had absolutely no interest in working in the veterinary field. She had her sights set on a mathematics degree until her family brought home their very first puppy in 2020. Edrea was instantly obsessed with all things “dog”, and her career plans quickly began to change. Edrea hopes to someday complete her DVM and work as a small animal veterinarian.

Edrea worked as a skating coach, educational assistant, and mathematics tutor before deciding that animal health was where she belonged. She is always excited to learn new things about veterinary medicine.

Despite definitely being a dog person, Edrea currently owns two cats. An orange tabby named Maui, and a grey cat named Beeb. Don’t tell Beeb, but Maui just might be her favourite.
